the men's discipleship ministry of Live Oak

THE MAN U MISSION:

We seek to provide life-changing discipleship to equip and challenge men to take responsibility for their faith, leadership of their families, and leading out in the church. We have designed equipping groups to promote genuine friendship and provide a place to practice spiritual leadership with one another. Classes are discussion-oriented and focus on what it means to be a godly man.

Monday Night Classes offered at 6pm:

1. Chasing Contentment

Book: Chasing Contentment by Erik Raymond

This is a 7-week class taught by Martin Beard. Discontentment is a mark of our culture. Striving for more and more is robbing us of the rest that should bring us joy and peace. Contentment is missing in so many lives. Join us as we discover how to find contentment and to experience the joy and peace that it gives.

2. How a Husband Speaks

Book: How A Husband Speaks by Ryan Frederick

This is a 7-week class taught by Pat Howell. During our time together you will be challenged as husbands to become men who understand the weight of your words and view communication as an opportunity to love your wives more like Christ.

Monday Night Classes offered at 7:45pm:

1. Intro To Man U

Book: The Men We Need by Brant Hansen

This is a 7-week class taught by Andy Crumpler.

This class is required prior to taking other Man-U classes, although you may take it simultaneously with another class.
