Love, Joy, Peace...
Live Oak Good Friday Observance: A Night of Prayer & Reflection
Join us April 18, anytime between 5-8 pm, as we commemorate Good Friday through this unique service that encourages individual prayer and reflection.

What is it?  A time to prayerfully reflect on Christ’s suffering to win our freedom from sin

  • Participants will walk quietly through the Live Oak Worship Center individually or in small groups at their own pace being led by a participant’s guide to prayerfully reflect on symbols that illustrate the story of our bondage to and deliverance from sin
  • There will be an opportunity to reflect on the suffering of Christ and the forgiveness of our sins
  • The Lord’s supper elements will be available for those that wish to take it
When is it and how long does it take?  The observance will be available from 5-8pm on Good Friday, April 18th
  • This is a drop-in event that will be available from 5:00-8:00 pm
  • You can go through at your own pace and it takes most people about 30 minutes
What is the child care situation?  Children can be brought through, or watched by family on the playground
  • Because this is a drop-in event and you can move at your own pace, you are welcome to walk your children in with you.
  • For children that are too young, families can go through in two groups leaving someone to watch the kids at the playground, or in the event of rain, in the children’s building.
Please join us and invite a friend!
Easter is a time of year where even non-religious occasional church-goers tend to try to participate, so let’s use Easter as an opportunity to be witnesses and to bear witness!
OUR MISSION
is developing passionate
